With Nikon it's mostly manual and a pain. The other thing I've noticed is that with a lot of lenses, notably the slower zooms, the tuning curve derived from the testing is quite flat and the software has difficulty determining a single optimal AFFT value. If you have a Canon product it's a much more compelling system because the process is fully automated. I have and have used their software for AFFT on my Nikon. They've just released the new version of their software after a long development period, so it's still in the "early adopter" sales phase. The occasionally put their software on sale the last special was for their "hard targets". Are there any discount codes for Reikan's Focal software? There used to be one( mbp45) but it no longer works.
